Just as there’s no correct way to be a human, there’s no correct way to create music. Led by the Mexican composer, Manolo Osorio, No Wrong Numbers challenges the idea of correctness both in numbers and in the realm of human existence. Drawing inspiration from 90’s Alternative Funk Rock, videogames, and the aesthetics from that era, Manolo tries to express his own emotions and thoughts in quirky and energetic musical creations.

 

The 2022 single, 'You Stop My Heart,' produced by the Argentinian producer Camilo Froideval, marked a significant evolution in their compositions, capturing a more ‘landed’ sound for the project. The band earned the opportunity to collaborate with him by winning the #1 position in the 2018 "Vans Sessions" contest, triumphing over 1000 bands from across Mexico. Judges, including the American guitarist and songwriter Theresa Wayman (Warpaint), recognized the band's talent and potential. Their accomplishments have opened doors to prestigious events and festivals, such as House of Vans and Vive Latino in 2020.

“I get inspiration from what I do in my daily life like playing my favorite videogames, listening to music, and my relationships with people”. As simple as that, these were the ingredients chosen to create the first album “Behind the Lenses” Released in 2018. The album pays homage to the 90’s Alternative Rock that inspired their musical journey, which is clear in the single Whiskey Jeans,' which catapulted them onto the radar of emerging indie bands in Mexico, gaining recognition on Mexico City’s 'Reactor 105.7 FM' and getting the #68 position in their top 100 most-listened songs in 2018. 

 

Continuing to expand their musical identity, No Wrong Numbers recently released IN YOUR ARMS AGAIN, a collaboration with Bangladeshi musician Tahsan Khan, who lends his vocals to the track. This release showcases a fusion of their signature style with fresh influences, marking a new chapter in their evolving sound.
